Candlelight Vigil for the Iraq Museum in San Francisco, California USA

Place: Asian Art Museum (sidewalk in front of steps to main Larkin St. entrance) 200 Larkin between McAllister & Fulton (Civic Center)

Time: 6:30 pm

Program: People will stand on the sidewalk in front of the Asian Art Museum, holding candles. There will be a short “ceremony.” Afterward, people will go to the museum cafe, have tea and cake, and talk about the looting of Iraq museum and the protection that should be provided to heritage in time of war. Admission to the museum cafe is free.
